I've been insured with them since I was 27 (when no one else would insure an under 30 driver with a 200sx). I am now 38, and have been with Shannon's ever since. They have always provided the cheapest quote (or close to, Youi would have saved me $80 per year, but not worth moving to an unknown company for $80).
I had two at fault claims within 3 months (around 5 years ago now) through my own stupidity (face palm).
Both times were walking-pace collisions (never had an accident before or since mind you).
Shannons were understanding of the situation, processed my claim quickly, and allowed me to use a local approved repairer of my choice.
I really can't complain at all, and I have all policies, including home and contents with them.
